I am an artist living and working in York. Currently I paint mainly in acrylics on canvas. I worked in the textile industry as a designer and I also taught design at University
My paintings are often inspired by my environment here in Yorkshire. I enjoy using layers of colour and texture to create abstract impressions of the landscape, seascape or the city of York.
