I am an abstract artist based in Somerset, working primarily in pen and ink. Intricate, fine detailed illustrations, often in black, white and greyscale, form a large part of my work. Recent explorations centred around free flowing ink bleeds, have fed my current practice allowing me to explore in a bold array of colour.
Organic pattern and form is a vivid focus throughout my work. I enjoy transforming scaled back studies of elements that I gravitate to in nature; into somewhat 'other worldly' and less recognisable creations.
Studies of mould, lichen, wood, semi precious stones and underwater and tropical creatures, feature throughout my varied multi media practice.
