I am an avid plein air oil painter and over time have spent more months of the year working outside than in my studio. I love finding new places to paint and especially like allotments and of course the coast where I live. I also enjoy working from life indoors. I have a passion for colour (and light) and often use a limited palette as I like the cohesion it brings to my work - it's easy to make mud!
I am a Member and Trustee of the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts.
