I live in Sheffield and have been a professional textile artist for the last ten years, exhibiting mostly in and around South Yorkshire and the North Midlands. I use a variety of textile techniques to produce my contemporary wall art. The card images are photographs of finished pieces, selected detail, or taken from preparatory design work.
The focus for my earlier work was historical sites but recent inspiration for my work has been the Derbyshire countryside with its hills and dales, paths and tracks and everchanging colour palette.
