A lover of nature, the moon and magic, Jacqueline Wild, infuses her illustrations with these elements.
Working as a full time illustrator and print maker from her 100 year old miners cottage in Cornwall, she hopes to share the sense of wonder she feels whilst walking her dog along the wild and rugged coastal paths.
Jacqueline, aka, Glitter and Earth, traverses traditional mediums such a lino printing and screen printing with digital art and loves how they inform each other.
Her work, both written and illustrated has been published in a variety of magazines, including Cornwall Today, Surf Girl, Stranger, The Mother and Isabella and Us.
Sustainability is an important part of her work and she screen prints onto organic cotton t-shirts and totes as well as using recyclable packaging where possible.
Living close to the sea is a dream come true for Jacqueline, who grew up in SE London and moved down to St Just, Penzance, 20 years ago. She decided to throw herself into the ocean regularly in an attempt to learn how to surf and still manages to catch the odd wave in between motherhood and life.
