I am a painter living in West Penwith, Cornwall. My work is about the landscape I currently live in and the places that I have visited. I take photographs and make drawings in situe and later return to my studio to make paintings. In my paintings I explore the sensation of being held in a moment of time within a landscape. This can be a particular light or time of day. I am especially drawn to changing light and to create a spacial awareness from foreground to the horizon beyond. I use a strong palette as I find colour invigorating. This exploration of colour association in its relationship from one colour to the next reinforces the challenge of painting.
My work can be found online with Wychwood Art and on my Facebook Artist page as dianehadden artist.
My CV and current galleries where my work can be found are available on request.
