I’m Marie, I’m an Artist based in Nottingham. Animals, Wildlife & Nature are my daily inspiration. I work in Pencil or Pastel to create highly detailed and realistic drawings, alongside a looser style in Watercolour.
Combining my love for Animals and Art ignited my ambition to become a professional artist. As Mum to two my art fitted around work and family life for many years, but it always remained my passion and long-term goal. In 2020, I was able
to turn my dream into reality, and now as a full-time Artist I feel extremely fortunate to be doing what I love for my job!
I have been a 4x Finalist in the ‘David Shepherd ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ Exhibition, and a Runner-up in the 2012 BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year Competition.
