I graduated from Bath Spa University in 2009 with a degree in 3D Design: Ceramics; in 2010 I was Selected by the Crafts Council for their 'Hothouse' initiative.
I have a huge love for Victorian costume, books, theatre & fairytales, with hints of gothic & wicked playfulness entwined with beauty & make believe. Although I still make ceramics I am drawn to mixed media collage & the subtle layering of paper, ribbon & textiles.
I have a large collection of Victorian lace, paper scraps & pre-1930's postcards which are used in my designs.
I have recently begun to stitch paper into collages that can be made into 3D objects & my love of music boxes has also been adapted into this new layer of work, ultimatly my cards are made to make people smile & are designed with love from the artist to you.
