My art combines classical illustrative styles in arbitrary ratios, and is inspired by history, mythology, nature and my own vivid inner world. I draw my influences from the Golden Age of Illustration, Dutch Masters painting, fantasy art and medieval illuminations.
Acrylics are my primary media, though I have been known to dabble in others. I sometimes undertake commissions depending on the lay of the land.
I live in mighty-mighty-Macclesfield (Cheshire), from which I enjoy wandering the Peak District, fitness training and, of course, painting. I am a member of the Macclesfield Art Group and exhibit with them in the local area.
