Like many people, I started painting again, after a gap of about 30 years, during 2020 when the Country was on Lockdown due to the COVID 19 pandemic. I am an Emergency Department Nurse and during 2020 my art gave me a form of escape from the pressures of work and life. I have been fortunate enough to have sold many pieces and have decided to continue painting because I enjoy it so much.
My style can best be described as 'eclectic' and I love to experiment with new techniques. I sometimes use digital methods to alter my art to produce alternative images. I enjoy painting animals, birds and flowers but also landscapes and seascapes and I am very fortunate to have a plethora of subject matter in the area of Suffolk where I live with my family.
