About : Miranda Whitten-Walker - Artist based in Kington, Herefordshire

I am a Herefordshire-based printmaker and artist specialising in nature and British landscapes. I am particularly known for my multi-layered linocut prints, which have a painterly feel, and a blending of abstract and realistic elements. My work often explores hill ranges, and I’m strongly influenced by the textures and erosive forces shaping the rural environment. As a former biologist, I also love depicting nature subjects through etching, drawing and painting, and I’m currently Artist-in-Residence at Hergest Croft Gardens in the Welsh Marches.
