With an emphasis on the surreal and fantastical my paintings are metaphorical mindscapes inspired by the natural world. From flowers and butterflies to planets and stars I paint all that awes me about this amazing world and universe in which we live. Interested in both natural sciences and spirituality my work merges the physical and metaphysical worlds. I have a background as a dancer, aerial circus performer and stunt wing walker so I often depict figures euphorically moving through space. I am also a life-long practitioner of yoga so themes of meditation often seep into my paintings too. I love to explore concepts of 'reality' and alternate dimensions via transcendental states of mind.
