Kris (Christine) Buglass is a Devon Artist and Photographer who works with a variety of media to create her artwork.
She has always loved to create art in any form and finds living on the Jurassic Coast is a constant inspiration.
My Father was an Engineer and had many talents, creating wrought iron and marble works. My Mother is a gentle soul and inspires me to find joy in whatever comes my way and to appreciate natural beauty. When we moved to Devon from leeds in the 1970's we opened a craft shop which i'm sure influenced me and formed my ecclectic, bohemian mindset, (much to the dispair of my partner!).
I studied Textiles, Design and Advertising at Exeter college, moving on to a Degree in Media, Art and Design at Exeter College of Art and Plymouth University. Following this things took a turn when we had our daughter and I qualified as an Early Years Teacher also running a Holiday club, which let my creativity run riot.
My Father passed away in 2016 and I turned to art as a healing therapy, during lockdown building a garden studio and am now exploring and re-visiting my true passion .
