Clare Shepherd lives and works in the Cranborne Chase in Dorset. She organises her ideas in her sketch books and also draws directly from her subject. These become Clare's working drawings for her contemporary paintings.
Clare trained at the Slade School of Fine Art where she was awarded The Slade Prize on graduation. Clare has won many awards since then and has work in collections worldwide.
Clare loves to travel and always takes her drawing and painting equipment with her.
