I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember.
My initial working life was spent in art studios who did designs for textiles and metal boxes.
I continued to do commissions (mainly portraits)
during my children growing up.
I did a Graphic Design Course as a mature student and was in partnership with two colleagues for a period of seven years.
I was approached by a charitable organisation who taught art to over 55's until they lost their funding---I then went on to teaching indepently,
and have done so now for almost 20 years.
My work is very varied because I teach in all mediums, and enjoy the challenges that I am presented with by my class. My main commission work is portraiture, greetings cards and house signs.
