About : The Fallen Angel Co - Artist and Illustrator based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

I am a free machine artist. My scissors are my rubber and my sewing machine my pen. I use miles of black thread as I sew fast and free to create the originals of my colourful range of greetings cards. Up-cycling is such fun and my work is nearly all based on hand dyed old cotton sheets sometimes overprinted, or stamped and occasionally embellished using the glorious golden metal inside tomato puree or dog toothpaste tubes to embellish my work.

You don't have to be artistic to be creative and creativity doesn't have to be difficult. It can be learned! I was an awkward left-hander at school and couldn't do art. I was no good at it but now, having had years of practice, I can do it and you can too.

I really love to share what I do and give talks to local quilt groups. I run play days here in my studio in Histon as well as occasional classes to larger groups in free machine sewing, picture making and designing, making and printing Thermofax screens. At the moment I am working on a series of books which will take you through the techniques I use, step by step. The first book, Colourful Canvas Landscapes is now available. Price 11.95 48 glorious colourful pages and full of step photos to show you just how to create amazing appliqued canvas landscapes.

You can check out what I am up to by visiting my website or look me up on facebook. The Fallen Angel Co

I hope you like my range of cards. I shall keep on adding more of my designs to this site and you should be able to find something for every occasion. If there is anything you are looking for and can't find simply message me via Facebook or email from the contacts page on my website.

Thank you for popping by.
