I have a background in graphic design and photography, and now paint and illustrate full-time – among other projects. I prefer to paint in acrylics on canvas or reclaimed timber, using mineral colours. My favoured themes are ancient landscapes with broad or improvised abstract skies, pictures that echo the work of Victorian or Romantic artists, and animals interacting with each other or with the viewer.
