Laura Fearn works from her garden studio in Bath. She studied BA(hons) Graphic Design (Illustration) at the University of Brighton before working as a children's book designer in London for 10 years. Following the birth of her first child Laura went freelance and now works on a variety of projects ranging from book and greetings card design to fine art painting. She has painted several huge street sculptures for city art trails in Bristol, Cirencester, Salisbury, Basingstoke and Cumbria. Laura exhibits her paintings regularly.
Just as Laura's work is varied so is the media she uses: she paints street scenes in watercolour, pen & ink, portraits and landscapes in acrylic on canvas, oils and pencil, and designs using paint, ink, pencil and her computer. Laura loves strong, bright colors, light and shade and is inspired by the city she lives in, her children and nature.
