About : Jules Chabeaux - Artist based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire

â€œI’ve always preferred animals to humans (!). I feel so uplifted when around them, open, relaxed, soothed and accepted. They are such wise, innocent beings and they light up my life.  When I am with them I become quiet, listening with my heart, hearing their messages, receiving their medicine and learning to be a better version of myself. I am naturally drawn to create animals, seeking to share their wise messages and energy through my work. Their eyes hold it all, revealing their spirit, drawing you in. Working with pencils, acrylics, indian inks and soft pastels, I find the detail and softness for feathers, fur and scales.”

Jules Chabeaux is an intuitive wildlife artist based in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, UK. Jules was, from infancy, instinctively drawn to be with, to draw and to help protect animals. She even sacrificed her top art grade, refusing to include abstracts, proudly exhibiting her portfolio of animal art. At 16 she earned her first paid art commission.

Jules is also an experienced animal communicator (heart based intuitive communication) and Usui Reiki animal healer and brings these wonderful skills into the heart of her artistic process.

Inspired by artists like Robert E. Fuller and Gordon Beningfield, she lives in a rural village surrounded by animals and nature. She loves rising at dawn and then, following her spiritual practice, she eagerly gets out into nature, before heading to her art studio to continue working with the animals, through her art.

Jules is committed to helping wildlife too.  As a part of this she donates at least 10% of all her art sales to wildlife charities and organisations that are helping to protect wildlife around the world.
