Sally is an artist whose work explores and celebrates the wild untamed nature of sea coasts and the landscape through the seasons.
The essence of Sally’s work is its energy, vitality and colour. This can be seen in her paintings, whether of bright daffodil fields, bluebell woods, overgrown apple orchards, flower filled meadows or the restless sea.
Art work commences with observational drawings and notes collected in a small sketch book. These images are used as a jump off point for later studio work.
Sally lives and works in the small Chiltern village of Aldbury, but frequently visits the West Country and Cornwall where the excitement of the sea keep her painting seascapes.
