I trained as an Illustrator and have worked on many different subjects in publishing and advertising in all kinds of different styles depecding upon the subject and context. I teach widely in the UK and abroad, running workshops and painting holidays. I am a former President of the SAA, have written three instructional books: How to Paint Watercolour, Pastel Landscapes, and The Art of Gouache, published by Search Press. and have contributed to many more I have also made numerous DVD's through the SAA, and I exhibit my work in open exhibitions and locally in West Yorkshire. When I am not away with work, my cat Mia looks after me and keeps house.
